| Edma Photo Marketing is located in Markham, Ontario,
Canada. The company was established in 1975 by its then chairman Mr. Earl D.
Magee. Mr. Magee has had a long history in the photographic industry spanning
some 50 years; over 30 of which were with his own company. Prior to establishing
Edma PM he was President of General Films Corporation (a major photographic distributor
at the time) and also a past President of the Canadian Photographic Trade Association.
He was a pioneer in the sourcing of quality photographic accessories and their
suppliers throughout Europe and Japan, a practice of which was unheard of at the
time.
During his career he gained a reputation within the Canadian photographic
industry as a supplier of quality products, combined with outstanding customer
support to photo, audio-visual and digital imaging retailers across the country.
These were his founding principles in establishing Edma Marketing and these principles
continue to guide the company today.
This tradition has been further enhanced with the acquisition of Heidorn
Photo Marketing - another photographic distributor with an excellent reputation
and a 25 year tradition as experts in photo related batteries and the supply of
specialty photo & video replacement lamps.
The combination of these two companies brings together almost 60 years of
photographic distribution excellence. Edma PM is now known for supplying some
of the finest photo accessories in several categories and for the expertise and
